Myrtle Beach Festivals

The mood is always festive in Myrtle Beach, so when you throw in an actual festival it’s a total party. Thousands of visitors plan their annual vacations to coincide with the shag dancing events, the motorcycle rallies, the ethnic festivals, the food and/or beverage shindigs. There are Myrtle Beach Festivals for everyone and they run almost nonstop from March through October, with a bit of a lull during the winter months to reload.

Many Myrtle Beach festivals coincide with popular holidays, like Halloween, St. Patrick’s Day, and of course, 4th of July. These celebrations may be marked by community parades, fantastic parties on the streets and local restaurants, and even incredible fireworks displays over the clear blue ocean waters. Many of these festivals have also become iconic, attracting the same group of visitors year after year. Popular events like the Myrtle Beach Bike Week have become nationally recognized around the country, attracting countless visitors from all over the globe to this pretty stretch of South Carolina coastline.

Of course, visitors will find a number of small and specialty festivals too, that highlight everything from local brews and wines to the fantastic surf fishing along the Atlantic beaches. Chances are, there’s a celebration going on somewhere along the Grand Strand, and the fun-filled Myrtle Beach Festivals are always among the most enticing, entertaining and celebrated in the world.

Be sure and coincide your next vacation with any of these spectacular Myrtle Beach Festivals to ensure a fun time for the whole family along South Carolina’s Grand Strand.
