Fall Weddings In Myrtle Beach

Sunday, August 31, 2014 – by OVR Staff
September is upon us and that means that the scorching summer sun is finally going to let up some and the beautiful fall days we love so much around here will soon be moving in. Personally, I can’t wait—fall is my absolute favorite time of the year! While fall may signal the end of tourist season, heat and humidity, and crowds, there’s one more thing it can signal for Myrtle Beach—WEDDINGS! That’s right, Myrtle Beach is a prime spot for destination weddings and the fall is one of the best times to have a beach wedding. If you are planning a wedding or know someone who is, consider a beach wedding. What could be more romantic than a beautiful flowing wedding dress and barefoot toes in the sand? Sure, you could go to a wedding chapel or even to a church or hotel, but why do that when you could enjoy a wedding by the setting sun….

If you’re thinking of a destination wedding here in Myrtle Beach, you can save tons of money by booking an oceanfront condo or house to put your guests and family in, rather than all the money for hotels! We have large and spacious beach houses that can sleep 20+ people. Just think of the fun you could have hanging out altogether! There are also several hotels in the area that would accommodate a beach wedding reception. Get married on the beach and then move in to the hotel for your reception or dinner. Many destination weddings tend to be much smaller and intimate, limited to a few guests. This would give you more money to spend on things like food and wine.
So, if you find yourself in wedding mode or planning on it, why not consider Myrtle Beach as your romantic wedding spot? There are so many wonderful things here that will ensure you have the most wonderful and romantic day ever, while letting your personality shine through. So, throw away those high heels and come sink your toes in the sand as you say “I do.” The beach is calling and we’re here to help you with your perfect accommodations, so call us today!
